We are incredibly grateful to Nelson Myatt Solicitors for their recent charity quiz night in support of Abergele Stroke Club—and what a fantastic success it was.
Thanks to their efforts, and the generosity of everyone who attended, an amazing £740.00 was raised to support our work with stroke survivors and their carers.
More Than Just a Quiz Night
While quiz nights are always a fun way to bring people together, this event meant so much more to us.
It was an evening built on:
Community spirit
Generosity
Laughter and connection
A shared desire to make a difference
Support like this reminds us that our members are not alone—that there are people in the wider community who genuinely care and want to help.
The Impact of Your Support
At Abergele Stroke Club, we provide a safe, welcoming space where people can rebuild confidence, form friendships, and feel understood after stroke.
The funds raised will help us to:
Continue running our fortnightly sessions at Yr Hen Ysgol in Abergele
Provide activities that support wellbeing and recovery
Reduce isolation for stroke survivors and carers
Create moments of joy, connection and encouragement
Every pound raised helps us keep this vital support going.
A Huge Thank You
We want to say a sincere thank you to everyone at Nelson Myatt Solicitors for organising such a thoughtful and impactful event. Your kindness, effort and community spirit have made a real difference—and we are so grateful.
And to everyone who took part on the night—whether you donated, attended, or helped organise—thank you for supporting our club and our members.
Together, We Make a Difference
It’s moments like these that remind us what community is all about. When people come together with compassion and generosity, something truly special happens.
From all of us at Abergele Stroke Club—thank you for standing alongside us. 💛
